Speakers & Trainings
Resilience Is a Skill. We Teach It.
Our psychologists and educators bring decades of research and practice to the people who support children, families, and teams. They offer keynotes, workshops, and continuing education trainings, in person or virtually.
Why Book With Us
Your booking makes a difference.
Speaking fees support Resilience Across Borders’ mission of bringing resilience skills to children in under-resourced schools.
Designed around your audience.
We tailor each session to school psychologists, counselors, clinicians, educators, school leaders, business teams, and parents.
Practical, not just inspirational.
Every session teaches skills your audience can use the next day: in a classroom, a therapy session, a staff meeting, or at the dinner table.
Grounded in evidence.
Our work is built on the Resilience Builder Program® and Resilience Builder Program® – Universal, developed by Dr. Mary Alvord over more than 30 years of clinical practice and research. Its classroom adaptation, the Resilience Builder Program®-Universal, has earned CASEL’s SELect designation.
The Giveback Promise
When your organization books a Resilience Across Borders speaker, all of the fund go back to Resilience Across Borders to develop and strengthen our programs, research and outreach. Part of your fee helps bring the Resilience Builder Program®-Universal to an elementary classroom that could not otherwise afford it. Your team learns resilience, and children in schools learn it too. Each corporate keynote helps fund resilience lessons for a full classroom of students.
